07/18/2002 -- Installed new set of eight Autolite spark plugs (gap .054) NAPA: $0.89 each ($7.12 total). It's important to occasionally change the spark plugs and service the plug wires so they DON"T GET STUCK like these things were. Found that if I worked them back and forth, turning them as much as allowed by the play in the wires, they would eventually surrender with a 'click' and then they would pop off like they were supposed to. Once I had the wire off and had found a place to sit inside the engine compartment so I could reach the little suckers, the plug changes went well.
