1989 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer
08/01/2003 -- installed Audiovox Rampage cd head unit
This is a two year old unit, not something I would have
chosen but as it was given to me, I enjoyed installing it and listening to it. When you are
installing any stereo in your Bronco, I highly reccomend that you get an adaptor so that you
do not have to splice wires under the dash. The adaptors just plug into the factory harness,
and you wire them into the stereo. After all, you don't want to mess up your Bronco!
I had suspected that the speakers were all blown, but after installing this unit I realize
that the amplifiers in the original ford stereo were blown. Very happy that I do not need new
speakers as I had originally thought. Of course, it would be nice to have some upgraded aftermarket
speakers one day.
